Hey Miami! Here's help for holiday bills

MIAMI, FL / CAMBRIDGE, ON (November 21, 2017) – Here's a unique way to earn some extra holiday money while supporting your community... register on StayBillety.com, list your extra space and host visiting athletes and their families.

The Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta (OBIYR) and home-sharing service StayBillety.com partnered to assist regatta participants and their families with housing.  StayBillety is the Official Online Accommodation Service of the OBIYR. The OBIYR takes place December 26-30, 2017.

"The Orange Bowl regatta is the largest youth sailing event in the Americas, and the second largest event of its kind in the world," said Coral Reef Yacht Club General Manager Jim VanBuren. "It attracts competitors from as far away as Israel, Japan, Europe and South America."

"Our partnership with StayBillety makes it easier for competitors to find housing for the regatta, and our local community will benefit economically through hosting visiting sailors."

“Our partnership with the Orange Bowl Regatta helps connect the local community with visiting sailors,” said StayBillety Founder/CEO Barbara Jones.  “StayBillety helps local hosts earn some extra money, and helps competitors ease the expense of traveling for this major international sporting event. We're all about strengthening communities and reducing the barrier to participation the price of accommodations can represent.”

Miami residents are encouraged to list their extra space on the site. Visitors booking with the affiliate code "ORANGEBOWL" help support sport development - and perhaps a future Olympian.

StayBillety is available throughout North America. Its partners include Syracuse University, Sailing Canada, Surf Canada, Canoe Kayak Canada, Ryerson University, and more.

About the Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta

The Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta is part of the many sporting events associated with the Orange Bowl college football game each year in Miami. Sailors between the ages of 8 to 18 years old can compete.

The Orange Bowl International Regatta has grown from 450 youth sailors in 2002 to 664 in 2016. In the past five years, this regatta has reached higher international proportions, attracting competitors from 25 countries and from 29 states in the U.S.

The regatta has been able to thrive through generous support from the U.S. Sailing Center and Shake-A-Leg Miami, in partnership with Coral Reef Yacht Club, to create an optimal sailing venue for competitors.
